When and where do we meet?

The Family History Interest Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 10am - 12 noon, at the Johnsonville Community Centre.  The cost is $2.00.

No enrolment is required, if you are a member you can just 'drop-in'.

Who can come?

All SeniorNet members are welcome, as are friends of SeniorNet members and visitors.                                                     

Note:

You do not need to be an expert in Family History, nor do you need to be doing any Family History research.   If you are interested in Family History and would like some help to get started; or  you've done some in the past but just haven't found the time to continue and would like to meet with others to get a 'nudge' to re-start; or  you are doing some Family History research and have struck some problems; or  you would just like to chat with people who share your interest - then you are welcome to come along.

You are welcome to bring along your portable device and any of your Family History documents.

What do we do?

We help and encourage each other to learn about the history of our families.  We are all at different stages of our Family History journey and have different levels of knowledge and experience.  We bring our experience, knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm, and share them with others so that together we can help each other learn and make progress.
