Overview:

Backing up involves creating an up-to-date copy of your files or data.  It is important to back up in case:
   •  The hard drive fails.
   •  Files become corrupted.
   •  Viruses hit.
   •  Your device gets physically damaged or stolen.
   •  You buy a new computer. 
   •  You want to see an earlier version of a file you’re working on.​

You will need:

A basic working knowledge of your computer or mobile device as well as basic keyboard and mouse skills.

Learning Objectives:

The learning session will cover how the following:
   •  The need to back up files.
   •  The pros and cons of the most common ways to backup.
   •  Installing and using backup programs on your device.
