Overview:

Review of security systems applicable to electronic devices.

Review of safe practices when using devices online, and in public places.

You will need:

Basic skills in the use of PC’s, iPads or tablets, and smartphones.

Familiarity with emails, online searching and, desirably, online banking.

Learning Objectives:

Learn about the nature of online electronic threats, and intrusions on devices.

Learn about the sort of inducements that may be made to you personally or electronically to fleece you of money, or to obtain your electronic keys or passwords.

Learn what signs to look for, and what actions to take to subvert their intent.
